Within our department of Individual and Family Care, IFO, we are 3 unit managers and currently have around 40 employees. We are all gathered under the same roof, which includes all authority exercises concerning children and families, adults, administration, and IFO's treatment team. The workplace is located about a 10-minute walk from the station, where there are good bus and train connections.

We are now looking for an individual and family therapist for our treatment team, a permanent full-time position. The treatment team is part of the adult support and treatment unit.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an individual and family therapist, you will meet individuals in various life situations, and the cases will therefore vary. For example, you may provide support before, during, and after a visitation, you may meet children of different ages, parents, and adults who have sought support for various needs, such as NPF, violence, substance abuse, and family work with networks. The goal of social work is to find and strengthen the individual's own resources, to promote each person's opportunities for increased quality of life as a whole.

As a therapist, you will work on everything from strengthening protective factors for those we meet to identifying and finding new tools for the desired change.

The fundamental task is to work for good contact, a high degree of motivational work, change and reinforcement work, both through good encounters, various support and methods, as well as outreach and preventive work based on the new social services act.

Some of the methods currently used are FCU, Repulse, Conversations about violence and conversations about freedom, ÅP, ACRA, and ABC groups. We offer you a workplace with a positive atmosphere and good cohesion where our goal is both a trust-based organization and employee participation, and to give you as an individual and family therapist the opportunity to grow and develop in social work.

We are currently developing our outreach and preventive work and see it as an advantage if you have experience in preventive work and evidence-based methods within social services' treatment work, preferably aimed at the target group of children, youth, and families. It is an independent job in that you are responsible for the cases assigned to you and you have close collaboration with social workers. You will also receive ongoing external supervision and have the opportunity to influence your work. The team also includes a coordinator and a senior social worker who provide support in daily methodological support, as well as lead and distribute the work.

Work mainly occurs during office hours, with some staggered working hours within our flexible framework, from 06:00 to 22:00.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a social worker, social pedagogue, has a bachelor's degree in behavioral science, or another education that we assess as equivalent. Experience in treatment work within social services and good documentation skills are advantageous. Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

A driver's license and bank ID are required, as well as a criminal record extract.

OTHER

In Herrljunga municipality, full-time is the norm with the possibility of part-time. If full-time assignments are not available, it may mean that positions can be combined with other tasks or at another workplace.
